Job: Deputy nursery manager - West Hampstead, Caleeda Limited

For this role we are looking for you to be passionate about childcare and is always aiming for outstanding care and education.

You will have the ability to assist in managing and leading a staff team within this friendly environment, providing care and education for children aged from 03 months to 5 years. You will have an opportunity to work in this beautiful environment which has ballet classes and extra curricular activities in a wonderful purpose build environment.

You will need to have a very focused with the ability to motivate staff in order to ensure the best possible standards of care are being achieved throughtout the nursery.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
• To effectively lead and manage the staff team including some recruitment and retention
• To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• 3 years' post-qualification experience and 2 years minimum of relevant supervisory experience
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards and EYFS
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
