The Fortune Green Nursery is a small independent and friendly nursery, committed to developing its staff and enabling children to achieve. We are located on Fortune Green close to West Hampstead Tube and overground stations.
You will be qualified to at least Level 2 in Early Years. Good written, communication and team working skills are essential as well as experience and knowledge of working flexibly within the early years agenda. You will be a key worker to a small group of children, monitoring their progress and keeping their parents informed. You must be enthusiastic, understand how to ensure the needs of the children are met and enjoy developing strong bonds with parents. You will have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a very team-spirited approach, and you will be ready to make all the difference from your first day. Some of your responsibilities will include:
• To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team reflective of the EYFS
• To work in partnership with the parents
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, although Level 3 preferred.
