Do you have After School Club experience in a senior role?
I have a great Primary School that is opening a Breakfast and After School Club; they are looking for an experienced NVQ Level 3 Play worker or Nursery Practitioner to take on the lead role of running this new facility at the school.
Working hours
Breakfast – 7.45-8.55am
After School – 3.25-6.00pm
The ideal candidate will live in the local area and be happy to travel to and from the school in the day. Previous experience managing or assisting in the running of an After School Club is essential. It will be your role to oversee the setting and ensure the smooth running and progression of the clubs.
The Clubs will provide care for 4-11 year olds and will provide excellent facilities. You must have knowledge on the EYFS framework and be able to provide exciting and innovative activities for the children. The older children will have the opportunity for extracurricular activities and a quiet area to complete homework if they wish.
Some duties as a Lead Play worker:
Administrative - marketing, fees, occupancy levels, bookings
Activity planning
Liaising with parents and carers
Overseeing and supporting staff
Recruitment and deployment of staff
