Bright Horizons Family Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our fantastic Teddies Coulsdon Nursery in Surrey.

To be considered for the position of Deputy Manager you will need:
- A minimum level 3 child care qualification
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Ability to build strong partnerships with parents
- Experience as a supervisor in an early years setting.
As the Deputy Manager you will provide effective management support to the Nursery Manager. You must be knowledgeable in all aspects of nursery operation. This includes a good understanding of; the regulatory and practice requirements; staff management; customer service; and financial aspects. In the Nursery Managers absence you will be accountable for running the nursery.
Some of the Deputy Manager’s duties will be:-
- Lead positive relationships in the early years setting with parents, staff and children
- Lead the promotion of health, safety and wellbeing of the children across the nursery
- Lead the children’s development, learning and play across the nursery
- Responsible for providing first line supervision to the staff within the rooms
