Nursery Manager

The West Somerset Nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager.
Situated in Minehead, the Nursery currently has 43 on its register and also runs Allsorts a breakfast/afterschool and holiday play scheme which is located at Minehead First School.
West Somerset Nursery is a registered charity and is operated under a parent committee.
You will have strong leadership skills and the ability to support, motivate and lead a staff team to ensure that each one reaches their full potential and that the highest standards of care and education are being delivered through the Nursery.
Management of staff recruitment and retention, and ensuring that Nursery policies are relevant and complied with is required.
You will have knowledge of budgets and financing to ensure the Nursery is profitable as well as idea s on marketing the business to move it forward and build occupancy, you will implement a parent liaison programme and work towards achieving an outstanding Ofsted.
You will have excellent people, communication and organizational skills. An excellent understanding of child development and the EYFS and be qualified to level 3/4 or equivalent, or level 3 working towards level 4 where support would be given and previous relevant supervisory or management experience.
You will be computer literate and aware of relevant Nursery software packages.
