About the role:
An exciting post has arisen within City and Islington College Nurseries for an Early Years Practitioner (EYP) who has the Early Years Professional Status. This post is for a one year fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work 2.5 days at each of the 2 college nurseries, 35 hours x 38 weeks.
This role is an exciting professional development opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to work with young children and their families. The appointed EYP will join the established nurseries team and will take the lead within the curriculum planning and mentor staff to support the children’s learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work with the college nurseries managers and deputies to ensure the EYFS is being delivered consistently to children and families.
About you:
You will need to be a graduate, who holds the Early Years Professional Status and have experience of working with parents and carers from a range of cultural background. You will have experience of working with particular emphasis on developing high quality childcare practices and have the ability to promote current legal requirements regarding national policies, health and safety, safeguarding, child protection and promoting the well being of children.
