Early Years Playgroup Practitioner 

Early Years Practitioner required for a Playgroup in Bethnal Green, London E2 REF: THFT

35 hours per week (Term Times Only)

Salary: £15671.25 per annum

A full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification as defined by National College of Teaching and Learning or equivalent or qualification acceptable by OFSTED.

A minimum of one years’ experience of working with children 2 to 5 years of age essential.

Tate House Playgroup is a voluntary sector playgroup based in a Children centre offering sessional care to children 2-5 years of age.

The Playgroup is based in Bethnal Green within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  There are good transport links, including tube and buses. 

The Early Years Practitioner will be a ‘key person’ for a group of key children, keeping records in accordance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.  In addition, the role requires the practitioner to work as part of the playgroup team, taking responsibility to ensure that all children, in the playgroup receive the highest standard of care and education

The Early Years Practitioner’s role is permanent, the playgroup has strong ethos in supporting children and their families. 

Tate House Playgroup is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
