Deputy Nursery Manager

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a fantastic Brand New Nursery.

You will be someone who has a strong commitment to delivering outstanding childcare and education.

Some of your responsibilities as Deputy Nursery Manager will include:-

* To work with the Nursery Manager in ensuring that all children are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play and learning experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

* To work with the Nursery Manager to ensure that all legislation in relation to regulatory bodies, special needs, safeguarding children and Health & Safety is complied with.

* To maintain a safe, secure and caring environment adhering to company policies and procedures and all statutory requirements.

* To maintain a profitable site in line with the business key performance indicators (occupancy, finance management - including staff budget, cost management & profit, staff turnover).

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:-

* NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3

* Knowledge of OFSTED standards

* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS

* Good time management skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong people management skills

* Knowledge and understand of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.

* Previous relevant supervisory experience.
