Nursery Manager required in Bromley, Kent

JBD is looking to recruit a Nursery Manager for a day nursery located in Bromley, Kent.

This is a newly established nursery forming a small private chain.  The vacancy is permanent, full time working 40 hours per week over 5 days, caring for babies from 3 months to 5 years.  All applicants must have a Level 3 or higher qualification in early years and at least 2 years nursery management experience.  In return the nursery is offering a competitive salary of £30 to £35K pa.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all the day to day operations of the nursery from caring for children, to managing staff and supporting parents.  Candidates must therefore be able to think on their feet, multi task and delegate effectively, as well as keeping on top of the daily paperwork necessary.

Candidates must have:

• 2 years or more experience managing a nursery
• Have a minimum Level 3 early years qualification
• Good knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted regulations and procedures, safeguarding, health and safety and early years inspection
• Mentor a team and support professional development
• Maintain high standards for children to be safe, learn and have fun !
• A passion for working in Early Years.
