About Mother Goose Nursery:

Well-established nursery seeks experienced full-time early years professionals to join our warm and inviting team.

Mother Goose is a “Good” rated nursery and our ethos is based around the EYFS and free flow-environment.

All age groups have access to their own gardens, we also have a beautiful wildlife garden which has an outdoor classroom, a fire-pit, a pond and a pizza oven where the children can make their own nutritious pizza!

We also have 6 hens which lay eggs for us on a daily basis alongside an environmentalist who join us each Wednesday to teach the children about the world around them and growing and eating their own food!

We are looking for a confident and capable person who must be qualified to level 3 at least.

We are flexible with start dates as we are looking for the right person to join us. 

We are an organisation with a small number of nurseries with opportunities for promotion and development. We are looking for someone who can offer quality child interaction, making the children’s time at nursery enjoyable, fun and challenging.

The successful candidate will be room based and a key person will need to track and analyse children’s development, therefore the candidate must be confident with observations, EYFS, writing reports, planning and must be able to lead the team and deputise for the manager.

Other information:

It will be a full time position (40 hours). The nursery operates a shift system between 7:30am-6:00pm.

We are open throughout the year 49 weeks. We close for 1 week at Christmas and 2 weeks in the summer (including holidays). 28 days annual leave including bank holidays. Company pension is available.

We also offer staff training 4 times throughout the year and it based on what the team needs at the moment. We also have an annual Christmas party for the whole team, as well as occasional staff social events. 

You must pass a satisfactory DBS Check. A candidate with a paediatric first aid certificate is also desirable.
