Threshers is a long established independent charity which has been providing day care and education to the local community for almost 50 years and we are seeking to recruit a nursery manager whose focus is on providing exceptional childcare and education services. We are looking for someone who is energetic and experienced and who can bring these qualities to the nursery, and has the ability to inspire and motivate our staff team.

The nursery is governed by a Board of Trustees who work with the Manager to maintain high standards, and to provide a safe nurturing environment where all children benefit from rich learning opportunities and exceptional care experiences. As the manager of an independent day nursery you will be responsible for all aspects of management including finance and buildings.

It is essential you must have the following:

Minimum Level 3 or above full and relevant Childcare Qualification Minimum of 3 years' Nursery Management experience·

In-depth working knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding  & Child Development·

Success in all areas of nursery management.

Additional Details:

The Nursery operates 51 weeks a year between the hours of 08.00am and 6.00pm and is registered for 53 children between the ages of 12 months and 5 years. You will work 40 hours per week scheduled to meet the needs of the Nursery. A job description and further information about the nursery may be obtained from the Company Secretary as below
