The Dwight Early Years is a welcoming and inclusive setting that values inquiry, play and outdoor learning. We would like to expand our nursery to younger children (currently we start at 3 years old) and to extend our hours to provide wraparound care throughout the year. The post holder will have considerable autonomy to develop the nursery within the ethos of the school. This exciting new role will be pioneering significant changes to Early Years provision at Dwight, by developing a unique nursery experience for children within the ethos of a forward thinking, global network of international schools. The Dwight community benefits from a rich diversity of cultures, nationalities and experiences, with over 50 nationalities represented and over 40 languages spoken which we celebrate and cherish. We welcome applications from individuals who share our vision to nurture confident, compassionate learners who are ready for the future as well as aspiring to our commitment of educating for a better, more peaceful world. We are looking for a confident and caring Nursery Manager who has:
-
A relevant Early Years qualification, Level 3 or above or QTS
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience within a childcare setting
Experience of working in a management or leadership role
A passion for play, inquiry-led learning and outdoor learning
Flexibility and adaptability
Good knowledge of EYFS regulations
-
A supportive and innovative leadership team
Professional development opportunities
Collaboration with colleagues in other Dwight schools across the globe
An environment that nurtures personal growth and values individual contributions
The opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children
