Dovedale Nursery was completely rebuilt in 2011 and is housed in its own brand new purpose built unit, with landscaped gardens and playing area. It is open from 8am to 6pm daily, offering a breakfast club and after school club for children aged up to 4 years.

It offers a safe, stimulating, happy and nurturing pre-school environment where children can learn happily and confidently, through play.

Dovedale Nursery is staffed by qualified and experienced nursery nurses and assistants. Registered with Ofsted and graded 'Outstanding' in all 17 aspects at the last inspection it is also accredited through the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

We were delighted that the Ofsted Early Years Inspection which took place in October 2015 judged the Nursery to be Outstanding in all categories and that the existing Ofsted Outstanding grade was maintained. The report recognised the outstanding quality of teaching as well as the well-organised, rich and varied learning environment which is well equipped with an abundant range of resources. In addition, the report praised the managers and staff as being inspirational and planning daily activities and experiences to extend children's learning in all areas.
