We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious Senior Nursery Manager to join our client’s Nursery in West Hampstead.  This is a permanent full time opportunity based in North West London offering a salary of £42,000 - £46,000 + excellent benefits and career opportunities.

The Nursery Setting is one of the best in London with capacity for over 150 children and employing close to 75 staff.  The successful Nursery Manager will either have to demonstrate experience of working in such a busy and demanding environment, or be clearly able to show they are capable and have the skills to step up.

The Nursery is located close to West Hampstead Tube station and easily commutable from all parts of North London.

What sets this Nursery apart is its size and wealth of facilities and activities.  Unlike some London nurseries, the nursery has a large garden at the rear where children can play sports, drive bikes on a ‘real’ road with traffic lights and enjoy sensory experiences.

The nursery has a full complement of specialist studios including: a performing arts and music studio, an art studio and a science and IT studio (with interactive whiteboards, individual computer terminals and pre school science lab equipment). Younger babies have their own special haven in the form of Active Senses.

So a fantastic setting, a great company, a highly competitive salary, and a chance to really drive your career forward.

So what do we need from the Nursery Manager?
  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare, prefer Level 4 and above
  • Clear and demonstrable leadership skills
  • A real passion for excellence and providing 1st class Childcare
  • Experience of working previously as a Nursery Manager, Regional Manager, or Deputy Manager
  • Experience of offering provision of childcare for a large volume of children
  • Drive and enthusiasm – this is a full time permanent role and will require dedication and commitment
  • Positive mental attitude, a natural leader, an understanding nature
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – great with parents and staff alike
