Nursery Room Leader – Thornton – Heath (Croydon CR7)

Qualifications – Montessori Qualified/ Nursery Level 3 - experience necessary.

The position is full time, working 8-8.5 hours a day (holidays including all bank holidays & 1 week at Christmas)  All personal holidays will be discussed according to contracted hours at the interview.

Our clients Montessori Day Nursery opened since 1996 and operating from 7:45am to 6pm.  The Montessori run day nursery follows a combined Montessori & Foundation Stage Curriculum.   Registered for 33 children, pre-school and babies from 6 months onwards.  All children share access to a secure outdoor play area.  Fantastic team of teachers and children to work with. The nursery is purpose build and close to all local amenities.

The Role:

To assist and support the children in their development and provide the necessary and adequate care.  Have a knowledge of safeguarding and ensure the children are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences. To promote equal opportunities, health & safety and paediatric first aid throughout the Nursery.   To meet the requirements of regulatory bodies in relation to the job role and to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.

Your role would include working alongside other experienced teachers, parents & carers. At some instances you may be responsible for students.  You will also be required to attend training and meetings.  To be experienced  to offer appropriate support  and relevant developmental opportunities to children.
