NURSERY MANAGER for a New Nursery

Rainbow Day Nursery is recruiting a Nursery Manager for its new nursery in Bromley South. Opening September 2017, we have space for 44 children, from the ages of 3 months up to 5 years, Rainbow Day Nursery offer huge potential for professional development. We have a reputation for excellent childcare and stimulating settings. Rainbow Day Nursery is recognised for the amazing staff team at their two current nurseries. We believe that our success is as a result of the dedication of our great staff, who are committed to deliver the best care and educations for the under 5’s. We need a manager who will recruit and train their team to help achieve the same ethos as our existing nurseries.  

Skills we are looking for: 

  • The Manager must hold at least a full and relevant level 3 qualification, however, a higher qualification in Early Years is desirable.
  • Previous management experience in a nursery setting (minimum of two years).
  • Excellent ICT skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to deliver outstanding practice consistently.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent partnerships with parents
  • Strong Communication skills- good command of spoken and written English.
  • Passion, creativity and enthusiasm for working with children.


  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
  • Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
  • Managing the smooth running of the nursery
  • Leading the staff team to deliver high quality practice within the nursery
  • Office based duties including finances, budget control, parent enquiries, marketing and recruitment
  • Bring your knowledge and experience and implement creative ideas to enhance the practice of the nursery.
