ADEC covers: Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain and the Western Region with about 300 public schools and growing.
To apply you need
**Degree in Early Childhood with QTS or
**A Bachelor’s degree with PGCE in Early Years with QTS/EYFS/EYPS status
**At least 2 years full teaching experience
**MUST be western trained
**Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English
**Up to date with modern early childhood education practice

Interviews will be done in a fixed location in London. If you meet the criteria above and are invited for an interview, you will be sent all the information necessary. The interview will be a virtual Skype interview with members of the interview panel sitting in Abu Dhabi.

ADEC stands for Abu Dhabi Education Council and is effectively the Ministry of Education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The reform project started about 6 years ago, and has made MASSIVE impact on the state of education in the region. Students are 100% Emirati and so if you have the ability of speaking Arabic this is beneficial, but not essential. You will work alongside and Early Years Arabic Teacher but are expected to take the initiative on teaching and learning to raise the standards of education in the region. This is one of the largest reform projects in the world and so being part of this change is excellent for your own career.
