Benjamin Rabbit Nursery is a thriving nursery in the heart of a multi-cultural environment which has both areas of deprivation and vibrant development. The owner wishes to appoint an experienced deputy manager, preferably with Early Years Teacher status although applications from experienced level 3 leaders would be welcomed.
The owner requires an energetic, self-motivated leader who will be able to actively assist in running the nursery. This will include recruiting, developing and performance managing qualified staff and students, ensuring that all Ofsted Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements are fulfilled as part of the initial registration and then through on-going inspections. To be responsible for the creation of an enabling environment and curriculum so that children can have excellent learning experiences. To write and/or update, implement policies and procedures in line with the Statutory Framework. To effectively manage a safe, hygienic nursery environment.
The nursery requires a skilled person who will be able to successfully market the nursery and ensure that occupancy rates rise and fee income is maximised. This will need to include developing good relations with parents/carers other professionals and the wider community.
