AFTERSCHOOL CLUB LEADERS & ASSISTANTS

Based at:            YMCATG Romford

Hours of work:   Part Time, Monday – Friday, 16-24 hours per week, Term Time only

Salary:                £5,154.24 p.a (16 hr contract ASC Assistant) or £5,617.92 - £8,426.88 p.a. (16-24 hr ASC Leader) inclusive & competitive benefits

Contract:            Permanent

We are currently recruiting for 3 Afterschool Club Leader’s and 2 Afterschool Club Assistant’s to assist and support on the delivery of a quality childcare provision for YMCA Thames Gateway, Romford branches on a day to day basis.

The post holder will assist in ensuring that the children continue to develop whilst in our care and enjoy our safe and fun environment. During Afterschool Club, the post holder will be required to support children in a range of activities including games, crafts, sports, homework club, cookery and free play.

The post holder must hold a NVQ Level 3 Childcare and Education/Play-work or equivalent.
