Early Years Practitioner

KC School is quickly expanding and we are now interviewing for roles in our existing nursery as well as our new state of the art nursery that will be opening in Milan in January 2018.

We are looking for experienced English Mother Tongue candidates who hold a relevant Early Years Qualification level 3 or above.

The role will be working alongside our dedicated Early Years Team as we enter this exciting phase of development. The ideal candidate should have;

  • excellent communication skills
  • a UK passport or a visa that allows them to work in Italy
  • at least 3 years experience in the sector
  • a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • the ability to be flexible and adapt to and work with different cultures
  • passion for the role and a sense of fun

No knowledge of Italian is necessary as the Nursery runs entirely in English.

Our first nursery opened in 2009 followed by our kindergarten in 2011. We now care for up to 150 children from 6 months to 6 years. In 2015 we opened a Primary school and now have children enrolled up to year 6. In January 2018 we will be opening a new nursery in Milan followed by a kindergarten and Primary school in September 2018. We are proud to have become part of the NACE group of international schools in Septebmer 2017.

We have a team of Early Years Professionals who work well together using their combined experience and knowledge to provide a working environment that is supportive, fun and allows for personal and professional growth.

We work according to a school calendar from September to June and run a summer camp in July. The school is completely closed in August.

Milan is the financial hub of Italy and is a busy city with many transport links to other major European cities.

The Italian culture is very strong and candidates get to experience the Milanese way of life in and out of work.

As all of our staff come from different places, mainly the UK but also including Ireland, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and the US, we have a wonderful cultural mix and people form friendships for life as they bond over the ‘living abroad’ experience.

We ask for a commitment of 2 years but longer term contracts are available.

If you are interested in finding out more about the roles we have, please contact us to arrange an interview.
