About the Team

The Hounslow Early Years Advisory Team work in partnership with PVI settings and provide a range of support to assist them in achieving ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ early years provision.

The team is enthusiastic, dedicated, supportive and high achieving. This is a fabulous opportunity to join this team as an Early Years Adviser. This position offers a range of professional development opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  1. To work with PVI settings to ensure high quality provision with a particular emphasis on the EYFS Learning and Development statutory requirements.
  2. To work with PVI settings to improve outcomes for children and close attainment gaps.
  3. To provide training programmes to support PVI settings in providing high quality provision.   
  4. To be an expert point of contact within the service in relation to EYFS Learning and Development statutory requirements.

Your Skills

  1. Ability to undertake assessment of the current quality of provision against the EYFS requirements and advise on strengths and areas for development.
  2. Ability to provide challenge and support to effect change
  3. Ability to design market and deliver training in response to analysis of need.

Essential for the Role

  • Leadership and Management Experience
  • Relevant Level 4 qualification
