About the setting:

Our Bird in Bush Nursery joined the LEYF family in May 2014 and were rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in September 2014. Bird in Bush is a one story 55-place nursery for children aged 0-5 years old, comprising of 3 rooms with 2 outdoor spaces for our children and is open 55 weeks of the year. Located along Old Kent Road, in the heat of the local community in Peckham, our Bird in Bush nursery is easily accessible by local bus routes and the staff team are led by our nurturing and adventurous nursery manager and deputy nursery manager, who champion our unique LEYF Pedagogy.

About the role:

Our Bird in Bush Nursery is particularly looking for for inspiring early year practitioner with relevant experience of working within the baby room. Practitioners who are passionate about nurturing a child’s growth and development by using the world around them to bring to life exceptional learning experiences for the children.

Requirement for the role:

You need a full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification; this may include NNEB or equivalent. Experience of working within specifically the baby room (desirable). Past relevant experience working within an early years setting for at least 6 months or more is highly desirable.
