Position: Lunchtime Teaching Assistant
Salary: Up to £8.50 p/h
Location: Christchurch Road, Purley, CR8 2NL
Hours: 16.25 hours a week Monday – Friday 11.15am – 2.30pm

Overview of the role
Lunchtime teaching assistants offer valuable assistance to the childcare teams during the busy lunchtime period. As well as assist with serving and clearing away lunch; you will also be expected to interact and play with the children, set up activities and be part of the staff team. You will also be relieving full time staff who require a lunch break. These are ideal positions for people who love working with children but do not have an NVQ qualification in childcare and want to work hours that fit in with their own childcare arrangements or other commitments.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience of working with children in a day nursery, school, children's club or as a Nanny
- Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate an advantage
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements and safeguarding an advantage
- Enhanced CRB/DBS Clearance is essential. Fennies will process and pay for this upon offer
