This is a fantastic opportunity for an amazing skilled, Baby Unit (Team Leader) to work in our homely family run nursery which is located in the Raynes Park area, near Wimbledon in South West London.You will be someone who recognises that all children are unique and that is passionate about delivering high quality care to children.

You will have a sound understanding the Early Years Foundation Stage, and the observation assessment cycle.

You will be committed to and aware of the importance of working in partnership with parents to ensure the every child’s individual needs are met.

You will have an approach which provides all the children in your care with the opportunity to increase their confidence and utilise their environment as best as possible.

It is essential that you have a child centred approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Some of your responsibilities as a Team Leader will include:

To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
To work as part of a team

To inspire those who work with you
To work alongside and liaise with the deputy and nursery manager.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Qualified to NVQ Childcare Level 3 or equivalent minimum
Have experience of working with children between the ages of 3 months to 2 years

Working Hours:
Monday: 08:00-17:00
Tuesday: 08:00-17:00 
Thursday: 07:30-17:45 
Friday: 08:00-17:00

This is a working week of 40 hours, there is a one hour unpaid lunch break included in the hours above, every day.
