Nursery Practitioner within the Baby Room/Toddler Room

My client an esteemed, well-known, mid-sized nursery, based in New Cross are looking for several passionate, outgoing and experienced Nursery Practitioner with their level 3 in Early Year to work in the baby room and toddler room. They pride themselves on create a home from home environment for their children. Each child is supported and cared for by the team of dedicated and highly trained staff, whose primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of the children.

Candidates must have:

• Previous childcare experience in an early year setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS
• A good understanding of safeguarding practices
• The ability to advance children’s learning, through high quality experiences and activities
• Experienced working as a key worker for 4 to 6 children at one time
• Excellent communication skills with both adults and children
• Cleared DBS check

The individual must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children and their parents to provided outstanding care.

To qualified for this role, you will need to be Level 3 qualified or above in childcare/early years.
