Nursery Manager - Tooting

I am working with an organisation who are opening a brand new nursery in Tooting. They are looking to meet an accomplished Nursery Manager like yourself to lead this project. This will be a very exciting opportunity if you have the vision and determination to lay the foundations for a successful nursery to be established.

Pre-opening Responsibilities:

• Consult the owner about the best resources, products and equipment to purchase
• Ensure that the nursery is Ofsted compliant
• Develop the policies and procedures for best practice
• Interview and employ Room Leaders, Practitioners and Nursery Support Staff

After-opening Responsibilities:

• Safeguarding lead
• SEN lead
• Ensuring children receive top-class care and education throughout the nursery
• Responsible for staff effectiveness, well-being and co-operation
• Responsible for reporting to parents
• Always aiming for an Ofsted Outstanding rating

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nursery Manager
• Motivated, enthusiastic and a positive leader
• Passionate about childcare with expert understanding of the EYFS curriculum document
• Excellent spoken and written English as well as a strong communicator
• Reliable, honest and a person who conducts themselves with integrity
