Room Managers/Leaders
Mini Treasures Day Nursery is looking for a full/part-time strong practitioners to work as Room managers/Leaders in our Morden SM4 Nursery.
You will have a minimum of level 3 in childcare and a years’ experience working as a room leader/manager in a busy nursery. We are looking for a, bubbling, passionate and positive attitude to join our dynamic team.

Key role
- To supervise, mentor and manage a small group of practitioners in your rooms
- To ensure the Setting is of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development;
- To look after children between the ages of 3 months - 5 years
- To plan quality and interesting activities in line with the EYFS; taking in consideration the children individual needs and interest.
- Ability to do children observations, planning and assessments.
- To be aware of the high profile of the Setting and to uphold its standards at all times.
- To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring setting policies and procedures are observed at all times.
- Be prepared to gain further training in relation to childcare. (NVQ level 3 a must)
- To be able to take part in Ofsted inspections and early years visits and monitoring.
- To adhere to all routines in the setting, including children personal hygiene*
- To manager the day to day activities of the room.

An interest in the care, learning and development of young children
A commitment to the provision of high quality childcare
A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities
Ability to do children observations and write reports using the EYFS

Mini Treasures is expanding and we are currently looking for part-time, full-time and term-time only staff to work within our nurseries.
