We are a family-run chain of nurseries with a strong reputation for delivering great childcare and looking after each member of the team.

If you are a strong and experienced deputy manager/manager with a genuine passion for working in childcare, high emotional intelligence, bags of enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and the staff, then we would love you to join us.

We will consider highly experienced deputies too.

Our nursery is a cosy setting offering 60 places with a team of 20+ staff. The new Manager will have an amazing opportunity to help influence the vision and direction of the nursery and take it to great heights through innovation and quality.

Some of the responsibilities of manager will include:
✓ To manage day-to-day operations of the Nursery
✓ To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
✓ To effectively lead and manage the staff team including providing day to day guidance, training and support to all practitioners
✓ To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times
✓ To oversee planning in the rooms
✓ To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
✓ To help implement an effective parent liaison programme;to be influential in developing strong links with parents

All candidates will be required to:
✓ Have a minimum of NNEB, NVQ/CACHE Level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification
✓ Have a proven track record with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar management role
✓ Possess an excellent knowledge of the Ofsted and Welfare Requirements
✓ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS and key person system
✓ Have a good understanding of how to create engaging and challenging learning environments for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers
✓ Have excellent communication skills and be a strong leader as well as a team player
✓ Be energetic, proactive, self-motivated and have attention for detail
✓ Have a passion for working with young children
✓ Demonstrate a good level of spoken and written English
