Nursery Room Leader

Nursery Room Leader – White Waltham, SL6

This is a permanent position in an independent nursery setting

Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm (Over 4 or 5 days)

Salary: £8.40 per hour

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for working with children
• Have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Have senior/room leader/deputy room leader experience in a nursery setting
• Have own transport to get to the nursery due to its rural location
• Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Be comfortable being responsible for your team’s performance and development
• Have exceptional team work skills - working in and leading a team
• Be dedicated to being a positive role model for the children and other staff members  
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Excellent communication both written and verbal

Our client’s private nursery is set in a rural village location in White Waltham, Berkshire, just outside Maidenhead, providing Ofsted rated ‘Good’ childcare services, they are registered for 65 children between 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery is committed to retaining a home from home atmosphere whilst nurturing the children and encouraging them to try new activities. The nursery consists of 3 bright and inviting rooms including a sensory room, along with a well-equipped garden space where the children spend time participating in a range of fun and stimulating activities.
