Nursery Manager

We are looking for a caring Nursery Manager for a small day nursery in Abingdon. The successful applicant will need to have an extensive knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements, and have had Designated Lead and Prevent Training. You should be passionate and enthusiastic to work in a childcare setting, have strong work ethics and maintain high standards of the nursery as per the EYFS and Ofsted guidelines. You need to be proactive in the day to day management of the nursery and staff, have the ability to deal with enquires and have excellent communication skills with children, parents and staff as well as external agencies.

The candidate must be qualified in Level 3 or above in Early Years. You must have had a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager and be experienced in running a busy team. It would be desirable for the candidate to hold valid full Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates and to have experience in handling Nursery Education Funding and participating in Ofsted inspections. Any other required training could be obtained through us.
