Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse

Clapham, London

Are you passionate about working with young children, full of creative ideas and keen to further develop your own learning?  If so, then you might fit right into our nursery.

We are looking for a friendly, passionate and qualified practitioner to join our Ofsted Outstanding rated nursery "Woodentops" in Clapham, London.

The nurseries are family owned and run and our teams are made up of some very special people. Through our nurseries and parent school, The White House Prep, we have been providing outstanding education and childcare in Clapham for 30 years. The Sunday Times just ranked our school in the top 100 Prep schools in the country! And Tatler just included us in their best nurseries guide for 2018

We have invested heavily in our beautiful buildings and gardens to make them as well equipped as possible to help you deliver an outstanding curriculum. We are committed to and invest 100% in every member of our team.

About you:

  • NVQ level 3 or above
  • Passionate about developing the highest quality experiences for our children to help them grow in confidence and self-directed learning.
  • Inspired to develop your own training further through courses, independent reading and on the job training
  • Excellent spoken English
  • A real team player with a 'can-do’ attitude
  • Short commute to Clapham

What we offer:

  • Holiday package of 23 days plus 8 bank holidays, increasing over time with tenure
  • Fun and vibrant nursery with a strong and friendly leadership team
  • On-going support and real career development through extensive training, both in-house and with external training companies
  • Progression opportunities
  • Wide selection of perks and lots of staff social events

We follow a safer recruitment and selection process. Only candidates who pass our initial screening will be contacted.  Following interviews and a trial day successful candidates will be expected to provide two references and pass a full/enhanced DBS check prior to employment.  We are an equal opportunities employer.
