2 x Nursery Trainee Managers

FountNursery is looking for 2 x Nursery Trainee Managers who are nurturing, can inspire and have fun to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.
As our Nursery Trainee Manager you will work alongside our Manager in the day to day running of the nursery within company and OFSTED guidelines. You will monitor our team to ensure that they are performing their job role effectively, assist in training and support to provide a caring and educational environment for all of our children with a warm and welcoming family atmosphere for parents and carers.
Location – FountNursery, Railway Arches 359-360, Westgate Street, E8 3RN
Hours – 40 per week
Salary – Negotiable / Depending on experience
About You:
As a Trainee Manager at one of our nurseries, you must have an ambition to proceed to Nursery Management, our Trainee Managers are our future Nursery Managers so exceptional leadership skills are essential. You will be supporting the Nursery Manager of the setting to lead and manage a team of childcare practitioners who are responsible for providing first class care to children within the local community.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare
Be an exceptional mentor and early year’s practitioner
Have solid knowledge of the EYFS
Have up-to-date Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates
Be able to build brilliant working relationships to ensure common goals can be achieved
Need a clear and valid DBS
Be flexible with start and finishing times
Have impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to colleagues of all levels of seniority
Your Duties & Responsibilities will involve:
Ensure that suitable opportunities, activities and resources are provided for all the children relevant to their age/stage and development needs to the requirements of external organisations.
Ensure that all staff are supported in their training and development and their job satisfaction. Ensure that all staff are mentored /coached appropriately.
Support the Nursery Manager and to manage the setting in their absence
To be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care
