With Mark Warner you will have the chance to work in one of our beautiful locations based in the Mediterranean which include Greece, Sardinia, Turkey and Corsica. You will get to do a variety of exciting and different activities with the children to help them have the holiday of a lifetime!
THE ROLE
- Ability to build excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and children
- Deliver the highest level of childcare
- Create and develop an attractive, safe and stimulating environment
- Tailor-make weekly age appropriate exciting activity plans
- Supervise children at play (indoor and outdoor)
- Supervise children as required at meal times, act as a role model to develop eating abilities, establish meal and snack routines. To be aware of special diets and allergies
- Be flexible, co-operative and communicate at all times
- Operate to the highest standard of health and safety
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- CACHE, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC National Diplomas OR completed 2nd year of a degree course in Education, Sports or Coaching which involved full time placements with sole responsibility of children.
- Alternatively 2 years’ experience in a childcare environment
- First Aid certificate
- Good swimmer
- Enhanced disclosure required through the ‘Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
- UK/EU Passport holder, UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account

At Mark Warner we have an award winning childcare department that runs throughout both our summer and winter seasons so that parents get to have some down time and lots of fun too! Our dedicated and passionate childcare team work hard to ensure that the children in their care have the best experience possible on their holiday and use their creative minds to come up with action-packed plans for the children which can range from going windsurfing in the summer to hot chocolate and crepe trips in the winter. We cater for a variety of different age groups within our childcare department and take part in a wide range of activities that are both fun and safe for each age group. We also offer an evening service in both our summer and winter programme where the children will come along and watch a movie and then go off to sleep ready to be picked up by their parents after dinner. Mark Warner have been providing family friendly holidays for over 45 years’ which allows our childcare staff to build on the already phenomenal part of Mark Warner that has been created not only for the children, but for the parents too.
