Level 3 Early Years Assistant Plus
Scale Point 8 (FTE £22,779)
37.5 hours per week, term time only, 8am-4pm (0.92) with 30 mins for lunch
We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Early Years Assistant Plus to work in the nursery at our friendly and successful school.
The successful candidate will assist, with guidance, the professional work of the Nursery Teacher. You will assist in the provision of opportunities for the individual well-being of children (2-4 years old) and their progress in order for them to thrive.
Assisting in the planning, preparation and delivery of learning opportunities for individuals and groups and contributing to recording progress and development.
You will be modelling a professional approach and secure knowledge to support the development of Level 2 Early Years Assistants under the guidance of the Nursery Teacher.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in related discipline, and have relevant experience.
- Be literate and numerate
- Be able to work constructively as part of a team, understanding nursery roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
- Be proactive and offer ideas and solutions
- Be able to relate well to children and adults
- Support Early Years Assistants and students or apprentices to succeed
