Term time only (39 weeks per year + 4 weeks holiday club)

40 hours per week

Salary £9.50 - £10.50 per hour

A fantastic Pre-School in Biggleswade are looking for an experienced child care professional to join the team as Deputy Manager. The Pre-school is light and airy and comes equipped with great garden facilities and plenty of outdoor space. The team are friendly and welcoming and management actively promote ongoing training and career development. This role is term time only + 4 weeks of holiday club, (43 weeks per year).

The role requirements: Deputy Manager

• To oversee the smooth running of the Pre-School in the managers absence
• To provide high standards of quality child care according to the EYFS framework and Ofsted regulations
• To create a safe and secure environment enabling all children in your care to flourish socially, physically and emotionally
• To work as a part of a team, supporting your colleagues and coworkers throughout the nursery
• To build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and outside agencies
• To plan and implement a range of stimulating, educational and fun activities promoting learning through play

The Candidate:

• NNEB, CACHE or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Early Years childcare
• Extensive knowledge of the EYFS
• Proven supervisory skills
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
