How would you like to work at a lovely “Outstanding” Nursery in the Chelmsford area? If so, this role could be for you.

I am currently working with 2 branches in the Chelmsford, Essex area, which are part of a fantastic nursery group. The nurseries are looking to appoint Nursery Practitioners, on a permanent basis, to start as soon as possible. To be considered for the role, you will ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education and Learning, however, the nurseries will also consider candidates who hold their Level 2 qualification and have demonstrable experience working in a busy nursery. Holders of a Level 2 qualification would also have the desire to train for their Level 3.

One of the nurseries is located in the centre of Chelmsford, close to the main train station. There are also several local bus routes. Their Ofsted “Outstanding” nursery is bright, homely and spacious with a state-of-the-art sensory room and an outdoor area for children to enjoy; an environment that is safe and secure. Their well-resourced playrooms offer a wide and exciting range of learning experiences where children can learn, play, explore and flourish as individuals.

The other nursery is located in Writtle, Chelmsford. It has five large playrooms offering direct access to a large open plan garden. They care for new borns up to 5-year-olds. Their Ofsted rated “Outstanding” nursery is located in the heart of Writtle Village, close to central Chelmsford with easy access from the A414 and A12.

You MUST have the following - 

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification – Level 2 holders will be considered
• Need to be passionate about childcare & education
• Need to have patience, positive approach and a nurturing and caring personality
• Need to work well as part of a team and independently
• Must have excellent knowledge & practice of the EYFS Framework, Safeguarding Policies and all nursery Policy & Procedures

Salary is negotiable depending on your qualifications and experience. – £16,500 - £18,000 per annual - depending on your qualification.
