We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to undertake the day-to-day running of their designated room: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Practitioners and helping to ensure that their jobs are done to the highest possible standard, to model good practice and be someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate others in a team environment. As a key person you will be required to plan activities and experiences for the children based on their needs and interests, to keep children’s records and oversee those of their team to ensure quality.  To safeguard that all policies and procedures within the nursery are adhered to, including that effective health and safety procedures are carried out in the room and the outside environment.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, experience of working within a senior nursery position, experience as a Room Leader or Acting Room Leader, in addition to a good knowledge of the EYFS.

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be £31,144 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave (pro rata), pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
