Leo's Den Nursery is a recently expanded 66 capacity nursery school close to London Bridge in SE London. We cater for children from 4 months to 5 years old and we are open all year round from 7.30am to 6.30pm. The nursery has 4 classroom areas plus an enclosed garden and a roof terrace. We also have staff accommodation (own double room) in a large house with a garden in East Croydon.

We are looking for an experienced trainer/quality assurance person who is capable of developing the skills and EYFS understanding of the team. This is a new role within the nursery so we can be flexible with the role and the type of candidate.

You will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years plus a minimum of 2 years operational experience within early years. You should also have good knowledge of the EYFS, schemas, planning, observations, baselines and cohort tracking.

You will then be applying this knowledge leading to developing good training plans for the other members of the team. You will work hand in hand with them within the workplace, concentrating on areas where knowledge is lacking and leading them through to good practices.

We could offer this as a full time role, or would be happy for this to be a more flexible or part time role. The salary will be based on the working hours and the level of skills/experience of the candidate.
