Position: Nursery Practitioner/Room Leader/Nursery Nurse

Our Clients are seeking enthusiastic and professional candidates with the following attributes:

We are looking for a Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader and Nurse

You will be working in a beautiful and flexible day nursery.

The staff team are qualified and experienced, and work within the Early Years foundation stage profile to be able to meet the individual needs of all children.

They take pride in excellent parent partnership in the Centre and have the Key person approach in place to ensure that this is achieved. Due to continued success they are looking to recruit a senior practitioner/room leader who is passionate about working in childcare, as well as working within a nursery team.

You will work closely within the team, contributing ideas, your commitment and supporting the on-going success of the setting.

Duties Include:

•To give support to other personnel within their team and the Nursery School.

•To implement the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure all the children’s individual needs are met and all areas of development are encouraged through play.

•Lead and support a team of Nursery Practitioners.

•Supporting the children with early literacy and numeracy skills.

•To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

•To plan, prepare, deliver and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS.

•To ensure all policies and procedures are always implemented and adhered to.

•To ensure that the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment

•To ensure confidentiality at all times. The Ideal Candidate:

•A minimum Level 3 or equivalent Early Years Qualification

•Will have a sound knowledge of The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation stage.

•Knowledge of Safeguarding Children

•Some experience working in a similar provision.

•Good verbal and written skills and able to keep records.
