We are looking for an experienced Full time Room Leader for our Camberwell Grove Nursery.

Title: Room Leader

Location: Camberwell Grove

Hours: Full Time 36.25 Hours

Salary: £20,483.72- £21,756.68

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Room Leader to join our friendly team in our Camberwell Grove Nursery.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to encourage enthusiasm in their team whilst maintaining a stimulating environment for the children.

OUR CAMBERWELL GROVE NURSERY

Our Camberwell nursery is located only minutes' walk from Denmark hill station, their last Ofsted inspection them as 'good' and is held in high regard within the community.

The Camberwell Grove Nursery only joined our LEYF family 2018 and has since been refurbished to a high standard. The nursery benefits from large rooms and lots of space, most notably, a huge garden which surrounds the entire setting.

This is a delightful nursery boosting lots of space for our children to grow and develop.

Role and Responsibilities not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day to day running of their designated room
  • To distribute staff and resources effectively, maintaining ratios while supporting other rooms
  • To lead the planning of age appropriate activities
  • Carry out observations, be a good role model and remain professional to staff, children always
  • Coaching/supporting staff

Required:

  • Level 3 or above in childcare or equivalent
  • At least 2 years in an Early Years setting
  • Experience in leadership is essential
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of EYFS
  • Observation and Assessment knowledge
  • Understanding the difference between safeguarding and child protection
  • Training/courses completed in management are desirable
