Nursery Practitioner
A friendly, family run day nursery in the vibrant London suburb of South Woodford is looking to recruit an experienced minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) nursery practitioner in a practitioner role. The right candidate will be professional, reliable, honest and have a passion for working with young children and their families. They should be able to work well within a team, but also work independently with good use of initiative. The candidate must be aware of safeguarding and the procedures that must be followed in working together to safeguard children. An enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to the successful candidate beginning their new role.
The role consists of being a key person for a small group of children, carrying out observations, and planning for next steps, along with the day to day general care of the children. A sound knowledge of the EYFS is essential, as well as good time management, and a strong desire to help the children achieve their full potential.
