Nursery Nurse in Southgate

Objective of the Post

To plan, deliver and evaluate activities and learning experiences for a group of children aged between 3 months - 5 years to observe and support their all-round development and enable each child to reach their full learning potential. Protecting and promoting the safeguarding and welfare of  children.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting child development 1.1. To be a key person and update key children’s’ learning journeys weekly with observations, assessments and activity plans.

1.2. To maintain objective, accurate and up-to-date records which identify children’s individual needs, abilities and progress and use these as a basis for future planning.

1.3. To plan and organise activities and experiences which will support  and extend the children’s learning in line with EYFS curriculum.

1.4. To maintain an up to date knowledge of child development and the early years curriculum.

Must haves

-full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 or above

-Clear DBS

-At least 1 years’ experience working in a nursery
