Job Details
We are actively seeking experienced childcare practitioners to come work in one of our stunning Mediterranean Beach Resorts.
As a member of our childcare team you will ensure all children have a fun, safe and exhilarating action-packed holiday. Each day you’ll help create an exciting, stimulating and imaginative programme involving a mixture of inexhaustible indoor and outdoor activities.Working to a weekly rota we operate a key worker system, implement strict ratios, split our children into age-related children’s clubs and look for daily structure for children 4 months to 17 years.
Main Responsibilities
- Ability to build excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and children
- Deliver the highest level of childcare
- Create and develop an attractive, safe and stimulating environment
- Tailor-make weekly age appropriate exciting activity plans
- Observe children’s progression and achievements, record keeping where necessary
- Operate to the highest standard of health and safety
- Participate in evening duties
Essential Requirements
- CACHE, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC National Diplomas or equivalent qualification
- Alternatively, 2 years’ experience in a childcare environment
- First Aid certificate
- Good swimmer
- Fluent in English
- Enhanced disclosure required through the ‘Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
- UK/EU Passport holder
- UK National Insurance Number
- UK bank account

At Mark Warner we have an award winning childcare department that runs throughout both our summer and winter seasons so that parents get to have some down time and lots of fun too! Our dedicated and passionate childcare team work hard to ensure that the children in their care have the best experience possible on their holiday and use their creative minds to come up with action-packed plans for the children which can range from going windsurfing in the summer to hot chocolate and crepe trips in the winter. We cater for a variety of different age groups within our childcare department and take part in a wide range of activities that are both fun and safe for each age group. We also offer an evening service in both our summer and winter programme where the children will come along and watch a movie and then go off to sleep ready to be picked up by their parents after dinner. Mark Warner have been providing family friendly holidays for over 45 years’ which allows our childcare staff to build on the already phenomenal part of Mark Warner that has been created not only for the children, but for the parents too.
