Pre-School Manager
We are looking for an inspirational, qualified and experienced manager to lead our dedicated team in providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for Pre-School children aged 2 - 5.
Wye Under Five’s Pre-School is a busy Pre-School rated OUTSTANDING with Ofsted, it is a valued part of the community. We are a pack away setting.
We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities, a caring nature and an ability to lead and empower the Pre-School team to deliver best practice for children. The perfect candidate will be passionate about young children’s development and well-being, have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and how to implement this, and be committed to delivering safe and inclusive practice.
Main duties:
- Ensuring that the early years service delivered is of the highest quality.
- Liaising with families about their children's learning and needs.
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and complying with reporting requirements.
- Marketing services within the local community and meeting local needs.
- You will also work with your team to offer a range of services and advice to support parents.
Requirements:
- Successful applicants will need a minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
- Provide practice and Assessment.
- Proven experience in running or helping to run a similar service.
- To be open to growing the setting and embracing change.
- The ability to manage resources to ensure the setting's expenditure and income is in line with its budget.
- The ability to multi-task and establish rapport with staff, families and external agencies.
- You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Hours per week: 37.5
Weeks per year: 39
Start Date: September 2019
