Location – Bristol & South Gloucestershire (field based)

Salary – Negotiable depending on experience

Hours – Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

 (Flexibility is required due to the nature of the role)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Just Childcare for a permanent Senior Support Manager to join our Nursery Operations team based between our nurseries in the south, currently between Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The role is to manage multi-sites so it will involve travel between our nurseries.

The role will involve assisting and supporting our Operations Manager South in the day to day management of our nursery managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education across all our settings. The role will also involve inducting new managers into our Just Childcare Family. You will also ensure all aspects of safeguarding are complied with and you will provide hands on support for Ofsted preparation and inspections. You will assist our nursery managers in achieving their targets which includes quality, occupancy and financial targets whilst ensuring they are developing, implementing and achieving actions plans.

Although the role will be based in Bristol you may be required to attend regular meetings at our Head Office which is based in Denton, Manchester.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a recognised Childcare Qualification
• Have detailed knowledge of EYFS & Ofsted requirements
• Have detailed knowledge of budget management
• Have credibility at a senior level
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Previous experience within a management role ideally as a Nursery Manager
• Previous experience of managing a team
• Ideally have previous multi-site experience
• Ideally have previous experience within the Private Day Nursery Sector.
• Hold a clean UK driving licence
