We are excited to be working with our client based in St Albans who are looking for a Nursery Manager who has been involved in setting up a Nursery business previously or managed dual settings.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivational Nursery Manager, to lead a happy nursery with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful and stimulating environment.   This would suit an experienced Nursery Manager with a passion for delivering high quality care and education.

You will need to be an effective leader able to motivate and guide staff to deliver best practice and a dedicated team player with great communication skills.   

As an experienced Nursery Manager you will be overseeing the day to day running of a busy and vibrant nursery, whilst working very closely with the Nursery Director. Your role will include reaching and maintaining occupancy targets, inspiring, developing and leading the staff team.  As well as ensuring all children are nurtured, inspired and well cared for during their time with the Nursery.   

Skills Criteria:-

  • A suitable qualification such as NNEB/CYPW/NVQ Level 3 or above/willing to study further
  • Experience of working in a Nursery Management role, mentoring and leading staff
  • A great understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures and able to train and develop others
  • Genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with young children, parents and carers.
