Music Teacher required in Wandsworth, South West London at a fantastic Preschool facility near the Thames.

You will be joining a small growing organisation with a passion for excellence and innovation in Pre-school Education!

This role is ideal for an Music Teacher who is wishing to work in the Early Years Sector.

As the Nursery's Early Years Music Teacher you will be responsible for creating a studio environment to support, nurture and inspire children develop an appreciation of music as part of general culture.

To develop a balanced lesson program with a vibrant repertoire of Classical music, World music and Jazz.

A piano level qualification required.

You will have the experience, knowledge and skill to teach techniques of vocal or instrumental music expression to support the EYFS Curriculum.

You will be an experienced Music Teacher qualified to degree level in Music, ideally with Qualified Teacher Status.

You will oversee the learning, development and attainment of the children's progress within the subject matter and have the capacity to advise, lead and advise other colleagues to ensure a holistic and individual approach to the children's learning.

As Early Years Music Teacher you will work closely with leaders and other subject teachers to introduce, embed and continually monitor the education systems and programmes offered within the Nursery.

The Early Years Music Teacher will have the following qualifications/experience :-

* A Recognised Degree in Music. ideally with QTS status.

Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument but preferably two essential.

* Experience in caring for young children aged 0-5 years.

* The ability to manage a group of children.

* Experience is assessing children's development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth.

* The ability to work within a multi-subject team.
