Deputy Nursery Manager
Purpose of Position
Our exceptional Breakfast and Afterschool club have an opportunity for the right candidate to join a lively, highly motivated team of professionals, committed to giving excellent service to the children and families of our local community.
The Centre is located in the heart of Romford and all drop off's and collections of children are local. We operate from 7 am to 9 am and 2:30 pm to 7 pm, we are looking for the right person to become a vital member of our team to form positive relationships with staff, children and families.
To assist the effective management of the day-to-day running of the Super Thinkers Program; making certain that all children attending receive optimal care at all times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment delivered through a structured, well balanced programme.
Candidates interested in this advert must have a Level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification and experience in a management position.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
The perfect candidate will have the following attributes and skills
- Has a Level 3/5 or equivalent qualification to work in Nurseries
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Manager
- Very organised with an acute attention to detail
- Easy to get along with
- Firm but fair
- You will have access to CPD training in childcare

- Contract - Term time only but Half term hours may be offered
Salary: £12,300 - £16,420 per year pro rata
