Nursery Practitioner - Level 3 

We are looking for several candidates to come and join our Outstanding Nurseries in helping to care for our adorable children. We are looking for passionate and caring level 3 trained staff or above to come and join our teams to help us uphold the nursery vision and to comply with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Suitable persons will need to be able to work 40 hours per week between Monday - Friday and will need to have a good level of the English language both written and spoken.

Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience

Wimbledon Day Nursery is a purpose built setting with children aged from 0-5yrs. With an owner on site who is completely involved with the children we aim to have a home away from home environment.

We offer complete staff training when starting with us and all staff will have access to online training packages alongside time out of the setting to attend the borough training.

We have a curriculum support manager who is there to give full EYFS training and support for any further certificated courses and for those who want to further their careers and progress into higher positions we will fully support you to do this.

You will need to be able to:-

-Adhere to all company policies and procedures

-Work co-operatively as a team with other staff members

-Be a Key Person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families

-Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members

-Share achievements and involve parents in their child’s learning journey

-Maintain accurate, effective and current children’s records

-Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow safeguarding procedures

-Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with advisory teachers, schools, area SENCOs and other agencies that may be involved

-Attend work with a positive and cheerful disposition and enthusiasm at all times

-Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery and operate to the highest standard adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

-Assist with the care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the nursery.

-Attending monthly room meetings and tri-monthly whole building meetings

-Promote the nursery to current and potential parents and professionals
