Room Leader

Kidz 1st is looking for hardworking, ambitious and friendly people with a great sense of humour to help us achieve a wonderful learning experience for children, family and staff.

As Room Leader, you will play a key part in the leadership and management of this busy nursery setting.

As Room Leader, you will role model and support Nursery Practitioners in your room to ensure that the Nursery's commitment to offering the very best care and education is upheld at all times. As such you will have an in-depth working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the room staff alongside the Management Team.
• Having a firm and thorough understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED outcomes, and best practice delivery.
• Holding supervision meeting with staff members
• Preparing children for the transition to the next age range.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

•  Qualified Level 3 or equivalent or higher in childcare
• Have experience of working with children
• Supervisory Experience.
• You will need to have a good command of spoken and written English

All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS and have no convictions and cautions.

Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per Annum (dependent on experience)
